After finishing her story as promised last week, Byron soon declares that it feels like Alice in Wonderland right now--everything is "still odd & unexpected".  Alicia tries to join the conversation but keeps glancing out the window at the beautiful day.  The yellows seem so bright! We hear some more about Byron'g upcoming schedule while Alicia surfs the web for info about the Mother Grove Goddess Temple.  Then it's time for the long Appalachian goodbye & they finally start to talk a little bit about food.  About time!

She's heading up to Maryland for Sacred Space & is looking forward to teaching some of her classes:  Willful Bane -The Joy of Hex, Practical Ancestor Work, The Season of Endarkenment; Deepening the Harvest Cycle, Herbalism, & a new one; "Grief Like a River".  They somehow resist the temptation to talk about death & instead remarked on the changing world.  Joanne Fabrics & their impending bankruptcy triggered an entire line of thought for Byron & they go down that rabbithole for a while.  Alicia wonders if Elon Musk & Jeff Bezos are human.The episode ends with Byron "fixin" to tell a story*...
