Well, they are still going on about the groundhog. (It appears his days are numbered). Byron is almost finished "canning everything in the world". The harvest is coming in, magical oil is being put up, and neither gal is shy about their opinion on the state of today's world.. There's talk of bees and chickens.

Hot As All Get Out-Part 1
Dog Days are here & the gals are just about over.....well...they're just about over most everything these days.  It's a long episode, to go along with the long days of unrelenting heat, then rain, then heat, then some more rain.  At least Alicia is happy about the good mushroom crop this year, in spite of losing her temper earlier in the week (gasp!)  Byron is pushing on & the tales are flyiing in this longer than usual episode.

The Time of Long Dying 
It's "too hot to bake pie" (as Byron says) & the  conversation is a reflection of the temperature on Wyrd  Mountain. Alicia grosses Byron out with talk of fish  pedicures & they both agree that dumb-assery abounds in  these fortune cookie times. There's talk of quarantine  hair & guinea pigs.

Coming of Age--The Joy of Sears
Talk ranges from Sears & the power it weilded on kids (note-it's not just about the toys), to movies imprinted on our childhood. Byron remembers lessons taught by the iconic movies & early such as "Don't get your pony in the quicksand!". They both agree that Christmas can be pretty darn creepy.
