Talk ranges from Sears & the power it weilded on kids (note-it's not just about the toys), to movies imprinted on our childhood. Byron remembers lessons taught by the iconic movies & early such as "Don't get your pony in the quicksand!". They both agree that Christmas can be pretty darn creepy.

My grandma's neighbor would always make homemade Taffy at Halloween and all the neighborhood kids would go to her house and pull the Taffy for her. If you pulled the Taffy you got a piece when it was done then another one that evening trick or treating along with popcorn balls!! I miss those days lol

Lmao we didn't have a chamber pot. My grandma would cut the tops completely off of gallon sized cans and metal juice cans and that's what we used at night to pee in. Come morning you took the pee can outside and dumped it off the front porch then you left your pee can on the end of the porch to dry and air out. We also got the Sears catalog and Montgomery ward as well. Sometimes we would go to Little Rock to the big Sears store for something. It was a full days adventure!! We hardly ever ventured to the big cities.

I used to spend hours looking at the Sears catalog- and Montgomery Ward. But we always got our Easter chicks at Southern States 🤣
